This is not an actual technical problem but it's really bugging me all the same. On the display of an 8930G there are rubber stripes/protectors that run along the top of the display above the LCD screen and on the sides. On the top of mine a part of it has broken off. I know it's only trivial but it's bugging the life out of me. I was wondering if you could get another one from Acer or if you can get one off ebay or if anyone has had this on their Acer.

Much appreciated if someone could give me some pointers. More is just going to peel away at some point and become more unsighty.

I had to send it back to Acer in the end and they replaced it, wanted to charge me £60 for the priviliage until I pointed out it was under warranty and emailed a 2nd copy of the invoice.

More fool them for not just sending you the part. Then again its a good thing they didn't argue that it was cosmetic wear & tear.
