No. Since internal interface is different on 51**'s MOBO and it doesn't have SATA connector and controller.

Would it be possible to add a SATA connector?

I have a 5630 with a PATA connector, however, according to Windows Device Manager I have a Intel 82801GBM/GHM Serial ATA Storage Controller.

Where could I get a SATA connector? Would this run faster than PATA?

Well I got the MCE version back in Dec '06, so got a PATA interface for HDD. I did see contacts on the mobo that suggest it supports SATA, providing I had the head.
