I"m looking at the comparisons between the Acer 1810 T and TZ models. The primary differences are in processor and cache sizes. Could anybody guesstimate whether there would be differences in battery life on the two models, ie the SU4100 and the SU7300? Battery life is probably more important to me than slight performance differences. Thanks.

Both are the same speed and according to intel are the same - 10w.

The only difference is the SU7300 has 3mb of cache where as the SU4100 has 2mb. However, the SU7300 has intel step speed. Which allows the multi. to be lowered and run the cores at a lower speed.

I very much doubt the difference batterywise between the two would be much if anything. Acer state both as the same battery time-wise.

Doesn't the speedstep on the SU7300 work better though?

I have a SU4100 and it only goes down to 1200 MHz.
