    Hey,

I just flew over to China. and I was wondering if I could charge my USA Aspire 5920G into this surge proctector at this hotel. It has a what seems to be a multiplug type prong hole (I can plug in the North American 3 prong into the hole without a problem) for me and its specs for the surge protector is Max 10A - 250V. China's Voltage is 220V so therefore the Surge Protecter should have that 220V output.

And I look at my Acer Notebook LiteON AC adapter and it says the input level can be [100-240V 50-60Hz 1.5A]
and output (..i assume to the notebook battery) is [19V 4.74A]

It should work right? because I heard notebook AC adapters are dual voltage and plus the adapter itself should be able to convert China's 220V into the 19V that the notebook battery requires.

Am I right because America's 110V falls in my notebook adapter's range of 100-240 and also China's 220V fall in that range too? so I wont expect a blown up battery?

I Think your Adapter can handle chinese power :D
Coz Ac Adapter display it's volt level as a 100-240v.Adapter can Automatically adjust it's volt level so don't worry  .
My adapter also display 100-240v & It made by Delta Electronic-China,In Sri lanka we use 230V :p
