This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hey,

    I've tried researching this online and all I can find is that it's something to do with Acer Empowering Technology rubbish. Anybody know for sure what it does? I see it in my processes tab in Task Manager (Windows XP) but it's not listed in msconfig startup options. I'm guessing it's started as a service?

    Well yeah I have been having a lazy sunday ;) but it's all about freeing up resources when you have a dinosaur of a laptop like mine.
