i would like to know if my laptop has a sata port on it or at least a slot for me to plug my sata chip in it.
And also i would like to know if it is possible to change the video card on this thing (MINE SUCKS!).

You cannot upgrade the GPU...see the GPU Guide for info, and maybe a few people can help you play a few games at optimal settings.

As for the SATA port, very few (read: none) have external SATA ports. You'll need to purchase a PCMCIA or ExpressCard card that has SATA ports on it...check out www.NewEgg.com.

    Laptops are not desktops...

The best thing you could do is get a laptop with an ExpressCard or PCMCIA slot (the former is better), and then get a SATA controller card that way. Something like this might help:

    PCMCIA Version
    ExpressCard Version
