    Screen flash in vista

    Hi,

    Can anyone help with this……………. My Acer lap top is running Windows Vista Home Edition, just after the desktop has loaded - but not before all items have loaded in the start-up area in the bottom right of screen - the screen flashs erratically black a few times, then returns to normal, I have tried the few fix’s posted on this and other sites including the downloadable fix from this site. None have worked so far

    Before I do a system restore is there any other way to stop this??
