    Hello Guys,

    i'm searching for the PLL on above Book to successfully use SetFSB

    any information on TME-lock at this one would be nice too :)

    as i found out, TME is on but PCI2 could be taken off without freezing, so there would be a chance of disabling it

    is no one here who could help me ?

    at least someone with a book from the 7741G series would be nice

    Acer 7740G schematic shows it uses either a ICS9LPRS3197AKLFT or SLGSP585VTR PLL.

    hmm, what is right now, i only find a 9LRS3187AKLFT on idt.com, no P at 9LRS and an 8 at 3187 instead of a 9

    seems that idt.com is very complete, so i wonder why the 3197 should be missing

    i checked both pll now but where does TME come from ?

    i don't see a pin for it or is it hard coded inside the pll ?

    i tried setfsb Version 2.3.163.129 and ICS9LRS3187AKLF (without a T at the end) gets a PLL ID Error

    i checked the inside of my laptop under the small lid where the RAM houses and if i see right it is the Silego Type SLG8SP585VTR

    but this one looks just like the ICS9LRS3187AKLFT in the data sheet

    bit 7 in register 9 is 1, so TME seems to be enabled
