    Hi,

I have an Acer 5672. I've had it for about 8 months, but I just started usings its battery (I usually have it plugged in all the time)

But to my horror, the batter lasts a maximum of 1 hour (0% lcd brightness, lowest CPU, everything turned off like wireless)

Is this expected? Can I get a new battery under warrenty? Is there something wrong with the laptop settings causing it to drain the battery?

    Thanks,
    Brian

Mine steadily went down to 66% wear over 1 year on my 5672 until I finally gave up and bought a Sanyo replacement.

I think that kind of wear is the sign of a bad cell or something.

Anyway, I have an Acer replacement on the way, so I will have 2 batteries soon.

    Thanks!

Mine needs to be replaced, so hopefully I can actually use it as a laptop now.
