    Hey guys!

Well.. I bought my acer laptop (Aspire 3000) just over a year ago. About 1yr 4mths I think..
Ever since I got it, the battery life was only about 30mins max and underneath the laptop (where the windows sticker is) gets extremely hot.. so hot I've never been able to actually use it as a 'lap' top hehe

As of recently I've only been able to use the laptop on battery for about 17mins!
    This is so frustrating

Then.. last week, I went to start it up.. things seemed to go fine until it reached the windows sign in screen, I couldn't move the curser (it kept stalling) and I couldn't enter a password.
So I instantly thought maybe there was some kind of a problem with the keyboard etc..
Called PC World and they said it would cost £120.. Which I'm definitely not going to pay! So I resigned to the fact that the lappy was bust and continued to use my boyfriends PC for work.

Then I took the battery out (dunno why).. but it started up as normal and everything seems fine.
Although the really really hot part underneath is still as hot as ever...

Hope to hear from ya's soon!
    Thanks in adnavce..

    Lea x

Aw crappy.. See it was my first laptop as I normally had PCs.. So I thought at first maybe I was doing something which made the battery die really fast :(
