Ive had my Aspire 5920G For 9 months now and just had it returned after we had to have it sent away for a SECOND time due to faults.

Ive just had it returned, switched it on and was able to use for a few hours. However everytime I switched on Internet Explorer, the program would not respond. This happened at least 3 times.

And this time when I had to restart my laptop again, after the welcome by Windows, I get a black screen with a cursor in the middle. Unable to do anything.

Seriously Acer, what kind of Techy's do you have down there? Terrible ones by the sound of it! Ive had it back for a few hours and its already messed up!

Any clues on what to do to prevent yet ANOTHER lengthy repair which will most likely end up not working?

    Cheers

For Acer Computers you don't sent in when you encounter software issues, because you will end up with more issues (the techs sucks big time).
Only sent in when hardware fails.

Both issues are related with Internet, and software of Microsoft ,
you should ask Microsoft to assist , not ACER .

You should read the manual , and know how to restore the operating system, with just three clicks ..

Any way you can blame ACER in some cases , but at this, you should blame your self .
