Currently i have a 5740G with the WD640 BEVT (5400rpm) that came with. Would it worth putting in a WD320 BEKT (7200rpm) taht i already own from my previous laptop??

    a) Is the difference between 5400rpm and 7200rpm noticable??
    b) Does it worth the replacement??
    c) What about battery life?

Despite that i know there is an empty mini pci-e slot. Does it worth adding a mini pci-e SSD drive like Super Talent 32GB MLC Mini 2 PCIe SSD For Dell Mini 9 - eBay (item 290512734217 end time Jan-13-11 18:34:14 PST)

Will it work?? and off course worth adding???

    Regards

    That SSD wont work.

You need a mini-pcie SATA port (usually only on netbooks) its wired differently.

As for old vs new, look up reviews of both? Try both?
