    Shut Down Problem

    Hello all, Have had new Acer Aspire 4540 for about 2months now and is a great laptop except for a few things. I have a few issue's that I have asked acer support to help with but they don't speak english very well.
    1. 80%of the time I shut down and restart is boots from the f2 screen not the window screen. Acer had me do a reinstall didn't help.
    2.At times when starting up I get this white Screen and nothing works have to turn off then back on then is ok.

    Have you updated to the latest BIOS/EFI?
