Just hit the Start button and type in Webcam(or CrystalEye or something) and it should pop up, then you can drag it to the desktop.
-
That is why I asked for the shortcut path...for some reason I get nix apart from the uninstall exe for the webcam. Could you right mouse click yours and tell me the path?
-
I'm not too sure how to get the path, sorry. I right clicked it but I did not see what you might have been looking for. Well it's sort of late now(I gotta get going to bed now actually), bump it up when more people are on the forums like in the afternoon or something.

just go c:/programfiles/acer crystal webcam and right click the .exe file and send shortcut to desktop
-
use the e-recovery then restore to get all the drivers that came with the laptop. then u can have the webcam shortcut
-
Thanks for the replies...I just had to install the drivers from the AP folder that were in the Suyin folder in the software backup files
. It also added the shortcut.

I did a clean install of Vista and don't have this handy little app anymore(even after installing the drivers). Could someone post or email me the program as its not on the Acer website either! ([email protected])
Cheers
