Is the poll about whether to upgrade to 5870m GDDR5 or is it a question if the 5870m memory type is GDDR5?

For option 1 (yes or no to upgrade to 5870m) I would vote no, as a 6970m will give a better price/performance ratio

For option 2 (yes or no if 5870m is GDDR5) I vote yes, as 5870m is a GDDR5 card.

Hey if you know where I can get one for a reasonable price, I just don't think it would fit in my power envelope lol.

I may know where you can get a gtx 460m for a very reasonable price...
I have one now that works on my MSI gx640 but not my clevo w870cu. I think it would work in your notebook.
Of course, the vRAM on the other side would be hard to cool. You tested a Dell 460m before, and you couldn't get it to full clocks, but the 400 series wasn't supported by nibitor yet, correct?

True, it wasn't, but does it support editing the voltage? Because I could OC it at 2d voltage but it did not get me very far.
