    Greetings,

Took advantage of that staples anniversary sale + $50 off coupon, paid under $500 for it...

Not to shabby for a laptop I will just lug around for business trips. I have a Dell e1505 core duo for the desktop. I couldnt pass up the deal, so I hope I didnt make a mistake with the model. I bought it mainly for the price/weight/performance ratio for the road. The quality of the acers cant be any different then dell. I didnt see a huge amount of complaints in this forums so hopefully things go well for my ownership.

well, enough rambling. See you guys around.

If you need battery life, something like the Compaq v2000z with the 12 cell battery might be a good option.
