    Hey folks.

Just as a preamble to these findings: YMMV. I'm a professional SMT Repair Tech and the head of engineering for a large repair company. This is just my findings, and may/may not solve your problems.

Not a lot of text to input, just follow the images.

The scope image will just help you figure out if your regulator has barfed, but is still running. This happens a lot with the 5738. You'll have 5v, but no 3.3v, and the gate line of the 5v High-Side Transistor will look like that. Yuck.

The boards are both from the same reference design, so notes for one are applicable to the other.

    Hello.
    I've got a 5738g.
when i plug the ac adapter the charger light blinkes orange.
i pushed the touchpad on/off light on.
i pushed the eco button light on.
but when i push the power button nothing happens.
is that the mosfet problem or something else?
