when i put my recovery discs in, i cant sem how to use them.
i cant run program or anything, i cant seem how to use them.

for some reason i can only get bluray discs to run on the acer arcade thing and windows media centre(which just turns acer arcade and plays it through that)

iv tried vlc player and windows media player 1 and neither work :(

also my partitions are 140gb each.
im guessing the other is for storeing stuff and backups.

but how can i make it so i have like 250gb for the first partition and only 30-40gb for the second one?

Vista can change partition sizes. It is unlikely that vlc or WMP can play Blu-Rays. You'll need software for that, which I would assume Acer would give you, but don't have any firsthand knowledge.

so i have to use their crappy software to play bluray discs?

also how can i change the partition sizes?

    thanks, owais

i found out how to do the paritition thing. but t doesnt work.

first i when to the disk management thing. i did the shrink thing on the used used 140gb HDD.
i removed 70gb, which then became unused space.
but i cant allocate this unused space to anything but back to the old partition as the option to use it to expand the size of the first partition is greyed out.

    how can i do this?

or do i need to get 64bit.

and how will i instal with with the acer stuff?

You can click on the other partition and hit extend.

I'd guess you'll have to use Acer's software unless you want to buy something else.
