I have a TM 8103. I noticed with my mp3's, that there are certain 'tracks' on each song that can't be heard (i.e. won't hear a guitar or other sounds on certain tracks). The files were ripped right from my CD's, and it doesn't seem to be an issue when I play the same track on my desktop computer. I've played around with the audio settings including what they have as a graphic equalizer but it doesn't seem to help. The problem exists regardless if I use MEdia Player, RealPlayer or Winamp.

Any suggestions? Are there any other special audio settings that I should access other than what can be found in control panel>

In the control panel, you should be able to launch the Realtek High definition audio control panel. Turn off the equalizer - there's like a little power button - green when it is on.

    Have you tried Apple iTunes?
