    Speaker problem in 8930g

    I have a problem in my built in speakers.When I am testing the speakers and I press the right speaker I hear sound from the center speaker!!!!!And when I am testing the center speaker I hear sound from the right speaker!I am using Win 7 but I test it in Vista also!!!!Please HELP!

    have you tried uninstalling the drivers?
    and installing a newer version?
    latest version is r2.57
    get it from here
    Realtek

    Have you by any chance got the "Swap Center / Subwoofer Output" check box selected? (Control Panel / Acer HD Audio Manager)

    Just a thought....

    @shakennstirred : I try that.Even if I have the drivers from Realtek or from Acer,the problem is still there!

    @mjmacnab : I try that also,but nothing :(

    I notice that after I install the Win 7 Ultimate 64bit and I reinstall the Vista but I had the same problem!I made a clean install.

    if its doing it in 2 different OS and even after clean install i guess it must be a hardware fault.
    i just thought if it had always done it, it may have had the speakers wired up wrong

    Last time that I checked them,there working fine!Can I have that problem from a bios update????
