Hi. Just recently, I noticed random spots on the lid of my gemstone blue Aspire 7740G. I haven't really done anything to it or left it anyplace where it would be sprayed or splashed with something to leave this random assortment of spots. some of them feel like they come out, some feel almost as if something burned through a thin layer of plastic.
Anyone have a similar problem before? Any ideas how to fix it?

I think nail polish remover burns plastic in a specific manner. Not sure if your computer has been near something like that.

I just remembered, there was a time when superglue may have splashed on it a little. would that have burned in (if not, it could be an optical illusion and they're actually droplets).

    Nah, it's probably the superglue.

Annoyingly, the solvent is nail polish remover.
