Does this happen to anyone? It like breaks up on Max volume. I'm not sure but I don't think it used to happen...not until after I reinstalled Vista

    Maybe its a driver problem?

Only my right speaker does it a little.
Does it come from both sides on yours?

It might be worth you trying the test I've been using to identify a particular problem with large numbers of modern laptops. All it is is to play a particular standard sound that you may be able to generate or, if not, to download.

Today, the list stands at 13 different models that play OK, and 14 that play the audio with gaps when the volume is turned up. I'm making a list with a view to triggering Microsoft or Realtek into investigating properly. The 5920 isn't on either list yet.

Anyone interested should contact me by clicking on the username here and sending a private email.
