I thought after removing all the ATI stuff and loading the Omega drivers without any hot keys, I would stop losing keys when I use the keyboard on battery power without an external keyboard...

I have the latest BIOS and it seems to be ok in safe mode, so it has to be some other driver messing with the keyboard. My friend has the same problem, so there must a solution someone has come across

    Any help?

I used to have the same problem. I upgraded the omega drivers from 3.8.273 to 3.8.330 which caused my display to go all funny. Then I uninstalled 3.8.330 and reinstalled 3.8.273 and the problem seems to have gone away. My laptop also runs a lot cooler :)
