    Hi There
This is my first post to these forums.

About 2 weeks ago a friend of my discovered a small thunderfly moving about inside the screen of his laptop. It later disappeared. I thought that this was strange and probably a rare thing to have happened but to my horror :( I found one walking about inside the screen of my Aspire 5612.
Unfortunately mine did not find its way out and died 2 inches from the top and 4 inches from the left of the screen. I took the screen out from the lid but as its a sealed unit can find no way of removing the darn thing !!
It looks like its stuck there now so I either have to put up with it or buy a new screen.

I have named him Tommy the dead Thunderfly :) !!!

    Any suggestions ?????

    Thanks
    FiSH

Not just Acer- Acer is not the manufacturer of the LCD screen and Acer uses different screens so it's more or less random. Either you're lucky or not and that's what scares me the most ;)
