Well basicly i have an Acer Aspire 1654 and the microphone jack has stoped working and the internal in built microphone has taken over.
The internal mic is on continual playback and will play through the speakers at all times unless its muted and if i put microphone boost on a high pitched schreeching sound is heard. This lead me to belive that it was a driver problem but i have reinstalled the drivers from the Acer website and it hasnt fixed it and atm i am stumped as what to do.
any help will be greatly apreciated.
