    orangeuscrd,

How much work was it and did the bios recognize it immediately. I have the same machine and am thinking about doing the same thing. The celeron processor is dragging alot of my applications very slowly. Any heat issues?

I also have this computer, would love to hear more on the cpu upgrade. I'm thinking about getting some UV paint and a glossy screen to sweeten my baby up a little bit. Also, does anyone know anything about upgrading the video card? I realize it's not dedicated, but are there any PCI options? Has anybody been successful with a gpu upgrade for this model?

    Thanks!

    Laz.
