This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Suggestion for my sisters laptop

    I have an Acer, and have for over 2 years and love it! My sister is graduating HS and wants to get a laptop for college. I would suggest an Acer, however I do not think they are (or at least the one I have) durable enough for college life.

    My Acer is nice, but the enclosure doesn't seem that durable. For her I would want something with a very hard enclosure.

    It does not need to be a screamer, I think the only game she plays is WOW.

    Any suggestions?
