Problem experienced: High pitched whining.
support about acer, quick summary, "the worst in the industry"
I have had my system repaired 3 times know and have had an array of items replaced, and they still have not fixed the whining problem. (sig)
In regards to there staff, they are far from helpful.
They have called me a liar, they have even tried to tell me I was not hearing anything. at first they screwed up my extended warranty so that took a week to straighten out, not to mention the cost for me to fax(8bucks) them all the Proof of Purchase and alike, that I really should not have had to do.
they lied about the "express upgrade to windows Vista" and my order was canceled. I don't think the was Acer's fault totally but they are not willing to help me fight with Moduslink... at all... they won't even contact them. as they wil not listen to me.
my system has spent about 9 weeks in the repair center, and it really should go back. but they won't fix it so I guess I have to over power the whine it makes with loud music.
so that is my complaints; in compressed form.
I have know idea why you are doing a survey, on acer but I would NOT recommend you buy one (unless you like to waste money and gain headaches). -
a friend of mine had the same trouble.it turned out to be the cooling pad he was useing
how silly did he look.
1 does it whinn all the time
2 are all the air hole's unblocked(mine had a label over one).
if no to all above,go have ears checked
