Due to a harddisc crash i have reinstall Windows Vista on my Acer Aspire 9410Z, and now I can't anymore switch off (disable) the build in wireless adapter with the button locate on the left side of the keyboard. Because this was possible before the disc crash I supose that this is a sofware probleme but can't find it. Cane sonebody help me.

    Best regards, Vic

Yes that the sollution. Many thx.
When you start the notebook the wireless adaptor is allways enable, isn't possible to disable this all the time. This is because I use a usb wifi adaptor witch is faster then the build in type.

Not sure, try pressing the button as soon as you turn on the laptop.

As far as I know for some laptops, really old ones, from Pentium M era had an old version of Launch Manager where you can set the startup status of Bluetooth or Wireless. Unsure about recent ones.

If you don't use built-in Wi-Fi card just disable it in the device manager- after all you can enable it the same way anytime you want.
