Hey guys, I've been fooling with this for weeks and cannot for the life of me figure it out.

I've done all sorts of tests, disabled all sorts of hardware and such, and still for some reason when my computer comes out of sleep and gets used for a little while, I get CPU usage around 40% all in system interrupts.

So far, I know it's hardware, and I know the files using most of the CPU during this time are:

-ndis.sys (Uses the CPU about as much as the other two combined)
    -dxgkrnl.sys
    -USBPORT.sys

I understand that ndis.sys is something to do with the networking, I'm assuming dxgkrnl.sys was the trace I had running on the kernal to record what was going on (using the Windows 7 SDK), and clearly USBPORT.sys is something to do with the USB ports.

I'm completely out of ideas. It's really frustrating having to reboot all the time after the computer comes out of sleep to get all my CPU back. Anyone have any ideas what this could be? I haven't tried a fresh reinstall yet, I'd like to avoid that if I have the ability.

    Acer 1410 11.6" (Windows 7 64-bit)
    -Celeron SU2300
    -GMA 4500MHD
    -2GB 667Mhz Ram
    -250GB HDD
    -Atheros AR8131 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet
    -Intel WiFi Link 1000 BGN

Let me know if there is anything else you guys need.

Yup! Ended up installing updated video, LAN and WiFi drivers from the Acer site from Europe. I read that for some reason, that site is more up-to-date than the US one.
