    Example I have an Timeline 5810TZG , see signature.

    G = gaming , dedicated graphics.

    T = Intel cpu or intel gpu ?

    Z = dont have a clue ???

    T = Timeline, as in Acer's Aspire Timeline models based on the Intel CULV platform.
    Still no idea what the Z is for - used to mean budget models.

    On my last notebook a HP - T = INTEL CPU and Z = AMD CPU , but i dont what they mean on an Acer.

    T = Timeline , thanks only Z to go.

    HP isn't Acer, so the letters will mean different things to different companies.
    And given that the TZ Timelines have Pentiums instead of Core 2, I guess it's still used for budget models.
