Hi , first post here  .
I'm going to buy a notebook but i'm having some problems deciding . I've narrowed it down to 2 models which surprisingly are both Acer :) . The models are or the Travelmate 4102 or the Aspire 4692 . What are the real differences between the TM and the Aspires ??? I know the Aspire has the Cristalbrite screen which uses a littlebit more power than the normal screen of the TM . Is the Cristalbrite screen so much better ??? Is the TM stronger build then the Aspire or is it same ??? The X700 in both models are more then strong enough for my use of gaming , allthough the 1692 has 128 mb and the 4102 has 64mb . That is no problem for me . The 1692 also has 100 gb of HD while the 4102 has 80 gb , enough for me , no problem . The 1 gb internal memory on the 1692 is better then the 512 from the 4102 but this will be also 1 gb if i'm deciding on buying this one ( i need 1 gb :p ) . I like the slightly longer battery life from the TM ( according to Acer : 3.5 h vs. 4.0 for the TM 4102 ) .
My use of laptop will be everything , haha , but basically internet and banking business . Sometimes i will be playing games and i will be looking movies quite a lot . It will be travelling 3 months a year so that is why the batterylife and buildquality would be a big thing . THX for answers ....
