im having problems reading cards in my built in reader. i have a micro sd card in an adapter and another sd card, when i place in the reader it shows up in my computer, but when i click on it it says to insert card. Ive checked for driver updates but everything seems to be up to date. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What capacity card and which operating system? Also, what is the card reader hardware?
Microsoft recently issued a patch for XP to support capacities >4GB.

Tanks for replying. Using vista sp1, but problem still occurred before sp1. Both are 2gb. Not to sure how to check what hardware it is. If you could tell me how, ill get back to you
