I just purchased a TM 6292-6856 (T7500, 2GB, 120HD, Multi Drive, ABGN Wifi w/ XP Pro) and expect delivery on Wed. I would appreciate any info on the do's on don'ts as far as the setup goes when I receive it. Comes with 2GB Ram and I plan on installing another 2GB since I have been told, you are better off installing in pairs because of the dual channel even though Windows will not recognize the full 4GB

Thank you in advance for any help or ideas.

windows xp 32bit support 3GB ram and 64BIT support over 4GB.Also you computer support unparallal dual channel .
So if you system is 32bit version you should add an 1 GB and if you system is 64bit version you should add 2GB.
