    Hi, I'm looking for an AC adaptor with international compatibility (at least UK/US).

    I'm thinking about this one, but I can't find a compatibility list (I tried asking through APC's support web form but no reply);

    Can anybody confirm if this is works with a TM 8100, or suggest an alternative? Thanks.

    The power supply that comes with the laptop is already 100v-240V, all you need is a plug adapter. If you need auto/air then use the Kensingtion universal AC/auto/air as that's what I'm using now, you still need the plug adapter though.

    Tapeworm,

    You have the machine as you reported in other posts. If you think you don't have the right adapter (may be ****ry specific) they look at the back of it.

    Normally it will say :
    DELTA ELECTRONICS INC
    MODEL : SADP-65KB B
    INPUT : 100-240 1.5A 50-60Hz
    OUTPUT: 19V 3.42A

    If it say something else look atb the INPUT. You need the 110-240 AND the 50/60Hz. Voltage alone is NOT sufficient, the US has a 60Hz network, while in Europe it is 50 Hz.

    Tip : For power cord plug convertion there are 'traveles kits' with 1, 3, 5 up to 36 (yes, thirtysix) cnvertion peaces.
    I have one with 5 comming from Option International in Belgium (that is the same company that makes the modem and network cards, etc, see microsoft driver list).
