Thanks to Zoomastigophora I changed back to BIOS 3311 and guess what grainy is gone![]()
It changes default VGA from 475:468 to 450:500 and reduces my 3d mark score about 100 mark.
I dont really care I use 510:513 for gaming anyway.
Now I depressed, because i cant really find any flaw in my notebook. For my perfection is when it's not perfect![]()

I'm glad I could help
I wasn't aware that the VBIOS also changed the clock rates too. Do you use ATI Tool for overclocking or some other tool? Also, has the overclocking really improved performance (benchmarks aside)? And is there any differences in heat emissions from default 450/500 to 510/513? Sorry for all the questions, I'm just contemplating overclocking my card but I'd rather not risk damaging this rather expensive and out of warranty piece of hardware if there aren't any perceivable benefits.

Well, I always use OC'd when playing games and yes with ATI TOOL. At least it gives me comfortable level when playing BF2, COD2 or other. I dont know if this just in my mind or really improve frame rate. regarding the heat, off course it has effect on it. So I always use cooling pad when playing games, while daily use I use powerplay to down clock my card instead.
This is just my theory but with this method I hope i wont damage my card because of overheat. -

You should be fine with a cooling pad. I don't have one so no overclocking for me.

Where did you get 3311.wph file? I need to try this...
I believe, 3311 was the one which made the screen brighter? 3309 was my factory one, and the screen was darker, so I don't want to downgrade to such a low version...
So? Is there any place I can download 3311 from? -
Ok. I've found it here:

It works!!!
All shades of gray in Nokia Test are solid now! Great!
I cannot see any difference between 1% and 2% gray, but I don't care - noise was far worse than this small issue. I'm gonna check if it's tweakable with CCC, Maybe it's just a matter of settings.
Thank you very much! -

By using this bios and not 3319, you are not having option for Merom upgrade and some other fixes.
3311 changed only version of graphics card bios to br17416.bin. The newest one is br20345.bin in 3319. It would be interesting to change just graphics card bios to the one from 3311. MB Bios can be dissasamble and put back together with good ati bios.
What do you think ? -
that would be great
anyone want to do it? and let his notebook to test it?
Not meee....
