Anyone know if it would be possible to upgrade the cpu on a TM2423WXCi from a Celeron M to a P-M? If it is possible, it would offer intriguing possibilities...

theoretically you could upgrade to a Pentium M; provided that you limit yourself with a Pentium M that has a 400fsb, 1mb L2 cache and built for the Intel 910 GM L Express Chipset.

the next challenge would be to determine whether the CPU is readily accessible because if it is difficult to crank the chassis open to get into the CPU, then don't bother because you risk ruining your otherwise good notebook. the better upgrade option is to jack up on your memory (max it out), and upgrade to a faster hd, i.e. 7200rpm.
