    Two questions on TravelMate 3002:

    1. How can you install a new hard drive? If so, how? I have not seen it in the manual.
I have managed to take out two screws for the hard drive. The lid is my problem and I am not sure how to go about this. On my dell laptop, there is a screw from the lid/cover to the hard drive and when I took it out, the lid was out easily. Not sure this is the case with TravelMate 3002.

    2. Once I get the issue above resolved, I want to install a fresh copy of Windows XP Pro in one hard disk with NTFS File system. I have a CD and will use the key under the laptop. My question is, would I be able to install eRecovery and ePowerManagement on the new hard drive formatted with NTFS? Or Do they depend on FAT32 allocation? If that is the case, how can I go around this?

    Thanks for all your help!

As for the first question, this was all I could find. Quoted:
To the second question - you won't have an problems with an NTFS filing system with any of your applications, however, you won't be able to use the system restore - that only works with a FAT32 filing system because it is a DOS application, and NTFS isn't usable from there without a third party application.
