    TM4100 battery life?

    I'm a total notebook newbie.
    I'm drawn to theTravelmate 4100 series by Acer's claim of 5.5 hours battery life.

    How do their claims compare to real life?
    Any opinions?

    BTW: On asian & UK reviews they claim only 4 hours -Why?

    5.5 on lowest settings, and idling, thats probrably why.

    Yeah, they do those tests on minimum power usage - screen brightness turned down, wireless off, sitting idle....

    Acer is pretty good with their battery claims - they said 3.5 hours for mine, I get almost 3.25. So, I think 4-5 hours is a reasonable estimate.
