Does anyone know if there will be a successor to the TM8200?

I was looking around for a replacement for my TM8204 - which is still going strong BTW - and didn't find a new TM 8xxx model. The newest one seems to be the TM8215 which is also pretty old by now.

Now clearly many of the new aspire and TM models have better processors, more RAM, more HD space and so on than the 8200 series had. However, I couldn't find any 15" high resolution screen models.

A TM8xxx successor would have to have:
    - Top end everything
    - High rez 15" screen at least as an option

Please post here if you have heard of anything. Thanks!

I don't know can you buy it in Thailand, but top TravelMate models are 6592 (with integrated X3100 graphics) and 6592G (dedicated Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT).

It has magnesium alloy case and display protection, matte screen (1280 x 800 or 1680 x 1050), Intel Centrino Pro platform, TPM + fingerprint reader, Vista Business (and some models come with XP Pro recovery disk), 8 cell battery, every possible port and slot, enhanced Acer DASP (Disk Anti-Shock Protection), Acer MediaBay (hot-swappable optical drive module), docking port and etc.

What do you want more? :D
