    Hey guys.. what cable do i need to connect my 1681 s-video to my tv? i tried searching for the cable on futureshop and bestbuy.. i cant it tho

    Just get a S-video cable. You can find them in any A/V store. Of course, you gotta have a S-video input on your TV. If you don't, Bestbuy carries a S-video to composite switch box for about C$39.99.

    wow.. 39.99 sounds pricey.. i did have a cable from my geforce 5200 card from my desktop that conneect from the card via s-video to rca.. but that got ripped to pieces.. anybody know where i can find one of those?

    If you want, I can't say I recommend you, but either head to Tiger Direct warehouse, it's located in Markham, like 10-20 mins north of Toronto, on Woodbine and Hwy 7, they have alot of computer stuff, try asking someone.

    They may be very helpful, or they can sometimes suck at service..

    FYI :

    Dont buy the std 4 pin s-video to rca cable , It just wont work

    Acer laptops use 7-pin svideo (not std), So bare mind to get a 7 pin S-video to rca cable
