Hello guys,
I searched the forum and haven't found a similar issue. I just bought an Acer 6930G laptop with GeForce 9600M GS graphics card and Vista. When I connect my Panasonic plasma and laptop with VGA cable everything is fine in clone mode; I can see desktop on both screens. But if I choose a single display mode to display picture only on my TV it cannot be done; laptop screen goes blank as it should but TV is also blank and that is not correct. TV says there is a signal coming from laptop but the screen stays blank. Tried Acer's OEM drivers and latest from Nvidia but the problem persists. This worked just fine with my previous laptop Acer 5920 with GeForce 8600M GS graphics card and Vista. Please help.
Thanks a lot!

How about it, 6930 owners? Are you able to output the picture only to secondary monitor (TV) so that your laptop screen stays blank?
The problem for me is that in clone mode the picture (film) on secondary monitor (TV) is tearing (breaking up) especially in fast moving and very bright scenes.
Thanks! -
I have a 9920 and cannot get tv out at all, only vga monitor. Before I had the hard drives changed by Acer I could use monitor and TV out together. God knows whats happened to the graphics. Sometimes my screen goes blank and I have to reboot in safe mode, uninstall the vga drivers, reboot to normal and reinstall them again.
TV out working ONLY in clone mode. When single display (TV) is chosen both laptop and TV screen are blank
