I need to replace the power jack on my laptop. Does any one know where I can find some schematics or instructions on how to take apart a 4402. I'd like to avoid making things worse when I take it apart.
    Thanks

I had a TM4402 - the only areas I could open up on the notebook were the compartments on the bottom for the RAM, HDD, and WLAN card. I removed all the screws in the laptop, and had no success removing anything. Acer's have always been difficult to dismantle.

Shouldn't you send it into Acer for that issue?
