It is running a little hot. CPU and GPU should be below 80c. Your HD temps are great though.

How long have you had the laptop? Whens the last time you cleaned out the fans?

The reason the left side is hot is because that's where all of the heat-generating components are: CPU, northbridge, and GPU (if the 6930G has the same design as my 6920G, of course)

Yes. Almost all newly builded Acer laptops have CPU, GPU and HDD on the left.
If you do not overclock your GPU and CPU, the temperature shouldn't be that HIGH.
Basically, this kind of situation is due to DUST. Compressed air is your best friend. It helps you blow all the dust out of your laptop. You can manually clean-up your laptop if you do not want to use Compressed air.
Use RMClock(undervolt)? Read this link, http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=235824

gpu is not like a CPU and can withstand higher temps. A bit warm, but I'm not worried.

Yeah, your ambient temperature means your laptop has to work extra hard to keep it cool. Make sure to use it on a flat surface when gaming (don't stick it on a couch or bed and expect the fans to work properly. You may also want to get a laptop cooler as they can reduce the temps by 5-10 degrees. A cooler + undervolting should get you some nice results.

A good max temp for that laptop would be around 80-85 I think, should idle around 50-60.

    GPU: Max 76

    CPU: MAX 55

    Hard: 50

you should use EVEREST to monitor temp. as it measure total cpu temp. not core temp.

its crazy to play game without cooling your notebook otherwise you would loose it forever.

    then update your nvidia driver......
