From NewEgg's site:
** This item is warranted through the product manufacturer only.
** Dead Pixel Policy: There must be 7+ dead pixels in order to obtain a replacement notebook.
You'll get a better price on the internet, but returns can be problematic if any. Might want to look at the Asus Z70va which has the same card and Pentium M for a little better battery life. -

Here is an even cheaper price at ZipZoomFly:

I wouldn't get a notebook at Newegg...in my experience, they don't package items very well. Or, at least nothing I have recieved from them.

That's hogwash. I've purchased dozens of notebooks from Newegg this year, and have had a problem with NONE of them. Moreover, I've bought THOUSANDS of items from them over the past few years, and have had two or three damaged items (remember, that's out of literally thousands), and those were obviously due to mishandling by FedEx.
And before you ask, no, I don't work for Newegg - I simply hate to see them trashed so inaccurately. I'm sure there are plenty of others here who have purchased from them who will substantiate my claims that their is absolutely nothing wrong with their packaging - in fact, I find that it is more often than not OVERpackaged.
Additionally, their stated return policy is extremely flexible, as customer service is their top priority. -
NewEgg is great, but I would not buy a laptop from them.

I was just posting my opinion. I ordered a notebook from ZZF before, and it was very well packaged. So, hence why I recommended them. I too think Newegg is great for computer parts.
I don't think Newegg packaged things very well, because, I have ordered hard drives, optical drives, and RAM from them, and they were scattered in the box - I was not very impressed.
Chaz -
Because if there is something wrong you have no option to return. You have to deal directly with the manufacturer. Seven dead pixels seems to set the bar a little high in my opinion.

In buying anything...I always try to look at big wholesales like costco or sam's club.
Right now, there is one at costco. With a 6 months return policy as compared to the 30 day at stores. Nothing beats peace of mind.:base:
