    I've just had to get a new hdd for my 5315 and am just in the middle of reinstalling everything.

    Now my questions is, is it worth re-putting the acer software on (empowering technologies and utilities).

    What are you opinions, are they really worth it??????????

    IMO

    launch manager is the only useful acer app

    BTW you did burn your revocery disks didn't you?

    Unfortunatley not, it's not to much of a pain though as i havn't had the laptop long so not much stuff lost, just a pain reinstalling everything. I've got a vista disk from another computer so no issues there!!!!!!!!
