This is intimidating..but here it goes :(

If I am posting on the wrong place..I am sorry..I have been clicking for the last 12 minutes and I am overwhelmed...but I recognize Acer..I know I have an Acer Aspire 5570Z so here goes my question hoping someone can help me.

My SD card reader was working fine until 3 days ago or so. I would put into the slot, the G letter would come up, I would go to my computer icon, click on it and all pictures would come up. Simple enough for me. Now, I insert the card and nothing happens. I tried several cards thinking maybe the card was bad. Nothing! I used the card with my camera and it works fine. now I have to upload pictures to computer that way which is not as easy for me. Son told me to scan for trojans/viruses. I scanned had something called "rogue" cleaned out. Still not recognizing it. Any other ideas? Please
again, if I posted in the wrong place..let me know and I will move..but I need help..
