    Hi there!

I have been trying PES6 in my 5920 (tearing is more than horrible) and here is the funny thing:

If you have a 5920, open any text processing program (wordpad, ms word,....) and try the following:

    - click on left arrow + up arrow + s..... WTF?? it doesnt write " s"!!!!!!!!!!!!
    - click on right arrow + up arrow + s........WTF?? it does write " s"!!!!!!!!!!

i tried flashing my bios with version 3708 but still the same

help me!! its annoying when playing PES6 for example :(

It's an analogue keyboard, they only let you press 2 keys at once. The only way to press more than 3 buttons at least on my desktop computer was to use a digital USB keyboard, that could accept more than 3 inputs at once.

This only ever annoyed me when playing Worms Armageddon, and trying to rope like the Pros. Not possible with analogue input keyboard (PS/2).

If the right arrow + up arrow + s work it isn't that the reason.

    I hope for a solution.

PS/2 is not analogue. It's totally digital.
Well, my guess for this problem is a stupidly designed keyboard matrix or a problematic keyboard controller.

    ______________

I have the same problem with my Vaio SZ61. I tried to change the keys but it didn't help. I can't run in some directions with 'E' (dash key) or pass, shoot, tackle if i'm holding 2 directional keys (eg, up key and right key to go diagonally). It's like you said, some commands that require pressing more than 2 keys at the same time won't work but others will (eg. down+right+dash will work but up+right + dash will NOT)

Is there a solution for this? Is this a fault of Sony laptops? I used to have an Acer Travelmate 8000 and it worked fine with it.

    Thanks

This is a brand new laptop. Why should I buy a new keyboard?? That doesn't look like a solution but like giving up.

Anyway, I have contacted sony vaio e-support and hopefully they can come up with a solution (fingers crossed).

Any other suggestions of how to fix this would really be appreciated. Thanks!!

It only happens in-game, not otherwise. I am thinking its a Vista bug as I am sure it works on my Aspire 5685WLMI
