Can you add a bigger battery than the standard 6 cell battery ?

Yes, but first you need to find a 9-cell.

Too be honest I think that would be counter productive. The 6 cell gives you plenty of power and if you added a 9 cell it would weigh the computer down.

I don't think they have a bigger battery out ATM. Maybe if you undervolt and shut down hardware you aren't using you can squeeze 9 hours out of the 6 cell?

Imagine a Timeline with a 9 cell > all day computing

    It would become a tsunami-laptop :)

Most laptops offer higher cell batteries,no ?

Most do but recently a lot of the ultraportables do not (ie. MBA, Adamo, T400s, etc.)

I'm hoping its real. What are the dimensions of the 6-cell? They have the dimensions of the 9-cell on the website so we could compare if we had the 6-cell dimensions.

You could always carry a spare 6-cell battery and swap it sometime during the day.
