    Hello,

I bought my Timeline under Vista and I upgraded it to Windows 7 (Store-bought upgrade). Everything went well but my battery is not as good as before and Acer doesn't want to help me. With Windows Vista, whenever I was on Saving (powersmart??) mode, the DVD was unactivated until I pressed the eject button. Now, under Windows 7, it doesn't do that. Could this be the problem??

Any idea how to arrange this?

    Thanks for your help !!!

    MC

not sure what country your in.. but go to acer website and update the drivers.. in your case, the optical driver... then you will be able to use the eject button, but in the mean time you can go to windows. right click the optical drive and go to eject.
